Accounting assistant
Description: Assist with basic accounting and financial functions within the accounting unit.

Desktop publisher
Description: Research, compose and compile contributions, including news items, and develop graphic layout of newsletters, brochures, invitations, flyers and other printed materials for the Lake Owasso Residence.
Age requirement: Adults (18 or older)
Population served: People with disabilities
Time commitment: Volunteers are asked to make a commitment of six to 12 months of service.

Information desk attendant
Description: Present a positive first impression and provide general assistance/information to visitors to the Ramsey County Government Center East building.
Ages: Adult (18 or older)
People served: Low-income individuals
Time commitment: The minimum commitment is a six-month term in the position. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday. The morning shift is 8 a.m.-12:15 p.m., and the afternoon shift is from 12:15 p.m.-4:30 p.m.

Mailroom assistant
Description: Assist mailroom staff in processing outgoing and returned mail, and internal delivery and pick up of mail.
Ages: At least 16 years
Time commitment: The minimal commitment for the mail room assistant is a three-month term in the position. Scheduling is flexible and is arranged with supervising staff. Shifts are scheduled Monday through Friday between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Office assistant
Description: Provide supplementary clerical services to agency staff. Tasks may include: photocopying, filing, faxing, scanning, data entry, mail handling and other general office duties.
Ages: 16 or older
Time commitment: Four hours per week
