About Kelly Miller

Kelly MillerKelly Miller is the first Native American elected to the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners and is a proud member of the Mille Lacs Band of Ojibwe.

Born and raised in the Mille Lacs area, Miller has dedicated her career to public service and community advocacy. Her most recent role was serving as the Chief Program Officer at Interfaith Action of Greater Saint Paul, where she oversaw programs that provide essential services such as food support, housing stability and emergency assistance for families across Ramsey County.

Miller is a graduate of Saint Paul College and is pursuing a degree in American Indian Studies at the University of Minnesota. Her lived experiences and professional leadership have shaped her commitment to strengthening community services, advancing environmental sustainability and promoting economic prosperity for all residents.

Miller resides in Maplewood with her fiancée and two children. As a mother and community leader, she is dedicated to building a future where every family has the opportunity to thrive. She looks forward to working collaboratively with residents, businesses and local organizations to ensure that Ramsey County remains a vibrant, inclusive and sustainable community for all.

Miller began her term in January 2025.
