Joining the county in 2009, Olson has served in a variety of progressive leadership roles, most recently as interim Community & Economic Development director since February 2024.

In Ramsey County, this information will help guide the development of strategies to reduce the health impacts of extreme heat for people living in the hottest areas of our community and the development of an air quality monitoring network.

Sarabia previously worked at Ramsey County from 2018-2023 in a variety of roles. She brings more than 25 years of invaluable experience and leadership. 

Caron has over 20 years of progressive public health experience, currently serving as the public health protection area manager with Hennepin County Human Services and Public Health.

The Service Center at Maplewood Mall has opened in its temporary space, Suite 1034 - the former Maurices store.

Ramsey County Manager Johanna Berg and incoming County Manager Ling Becker provided the Board of Commissioners the proposed 2025 supplemental county budget of $848.5 million.

The WIB welcomed incoming chair-elect Yolanda McIntosh, two newly appointed board members, Tami Cybulski and Bryan Kuzel, and 10 reappointed members.

The county manager is the chief administrative officer of the county and is responsible for implementing policy and overseeing daily operations of the county and county staff.
