Plastic Bags and Film Recycling

Ramsey County accepts plastic bags and plastic film at the Environmental Center for recycling.

Items accepted

Items must be clean, dry and free of food residue.

If unsure, check if the material stretches when pulled. It if stretches, it can be brought to the drop-off site. If the material tears like paper, is shiny, or makes a crunchy sound in your hand, it is NOT accepted for plastic film recycling and should go in the trash.
