Lodging & Manufactured Home Parks
Ramsey County licenses and inspects lodging establishments and manufactured home parks in the county, except in Maplewood and Saint Paul.
Pay license fees
- Use a checking/savings account or credit/debit card.
- Use the statement number found on your fee statement.
- Create a separate transaction for each fee statement paid.

Lodging establishments include hotels, motels and board/lodging facilities, such as memory care units. Ramsey County licenses and inspects lodging establishments annually or when complaints are received.

- Building structure and maintenance, lighting, ventilation and fire protection.
- Condition and cleanliness of floors, walls, ceilings and furnishings.
- Cleanliness of linens, toilets, showers and sinks.
- Water supply, plumbing and ice dispensing.
- Waste disposal, vermin control and screening.
- Spacing requirements.
- Sex trafficking prevention training.

Ramsey County licenses and inspects manufactured home parks annually or when complaints are received.

- Water supply and sewage disposal.
- Spacing.
- Animal control.
