Become a TST Community Member
Transforming Systems Together (TST) community members share power, review policies, develop programs and help make decisions about where dollars are spent. Nine TST community members will serve one-year terms beginning January 2024 and will focus on transforming the county’s community corrections and mental health services.
The role
TST members sit side-by-side county staff to:
- Develop and implement changes in how Ramsey County delivers services.
- Transform the way the county invests in community; move away from “business as usual” and change the way budget decisions are made.
- Share in decision making on priorities, approaches, budgets and program design.
- Provide intentional focus on race equity and historically impacted communities.
- Focus on investments that will reduce persistent racial disparities that show up in a wide range of community wellbeing measures.
Requirements
We are looking for community members who:
- Are 18 years old or older and live in Ramsey County.
- Are from racially and ethnically diverse communities and have experience in community leadership.
- Have no current ties to Ramsey County as employees, contractors or partners.
- Have experience working for systems change or have lived experience in communities we are seeking to strengthen.
- Can connect TST goals and funding efforts with the work and other reform-focused groups.

Commitment and compensation
TST community members:
- Serve one-year terms, attend monthly meetings and serve an additional 8-12 hours per month.
- Receive $50.00 per hour.
