Youth Committee

The WIB’s Youth Committee operates as a workforce board focusing on the unique needs of Ramsey County’s youth. Responsibilities of the Youth Committee include:

• Developing the strategic direction of the programs available to youth in Ramsey County. Requests for Proposals are developed to identify community service providers that can best serve Ramsey County’s youth.
• Oversees the performance outcomes for the youth programs.
• Special projects – The Outreach-to-Schools program places interns in local high schools to work with students on career/job market exploration and work readiness, post-secondary education planning, and assistance with making informed decisions regarding career path options.
