Visiting
Parents and legal guardians are allowed to visit juveniles in-person or via video visit. All in-person visitors must present photo identification (e.g., driver’s license, state ID, passport, work ID). Any exception to the times listed below requires the approval of a shift supervisor.
Video visiting
Residents have access to no-cost video visiting services throughout the day via NCIC. Visits must be scheduled 24 hours in advance. Visiting times are subject to change to fit the facility schedule.

Visiting rules
- You cannot visit a person if there is a Restraining Order or No Contact Order between you.
- All visits are monitored and may be recorded.
- If residents break facility rules, they may temporarily lose visiting privileges.
- Inappropriate or suggestive behavior is not allowed.
- You must wear appropriate clothing.
- Any type of abusive or inappropriate language, sexual or disturbing behavior is not allowed during the visit.
- If you break any of these rules, your visit may end, and you may lose any future visiting privileges.
Onsite visitor parking
Parking is available on the street (metered) or several parking lots and ramps surrounding the building on either St. Peter or Wabasha Streets. Metro Transit bus and light rail stops are also located near the facility.
