Access to land records maintained by the County Recorder and Registrar of Titles Office is available online through RecordEASE. Access is also available at our Property Records Resource Center.

Online access to recorded documents (RecordEASE)

RecordEASE is the county’s commercial product for accessing land records maintained by the County Recorder and Registrar of Titles Office of Ramsey County. For a low subscription fee, users will have access to recorded documents and images in RecordEASE without having to visit our physical location.

  • Abstract and Torrens records.
  • Grantor/Grantee.
  • Document type.
  • Tax liens.
  • All Abstract imaged historical documents back to 1967.
  • All Torrens imaged historical documents back to 1913.
  • Images in TIFF format.

Using RecordEASE

The RecordEASE website had been designed for use as a search tool for information on individual property parcels. Multiple parcel data downloads, screen scraping programs, or other computer extraction techniques are strictly prohibited. Ramsey County reserves the right to deny access to the site by any individual or party determined to be misusing the site.

Property Records Resource Center

The Property Records Resource Center assists professionals and members of the public with questions on Ramsey County real estate records. Access to workstations is available.

Location and hours

The Resource Center is located in the Plato Building.

The hours are 8 a.m. - 4:15 p.m.

For availability and appointments, call the Recorder's Office. 

For help with laws and legal research, the Ramsey County Law Library is a public library open to all.  It is located in the Ramsey Country courthouse in downtown Saint Paul and maintains a collection of print and online legal resources, including self-help materials.
