Tamarack Discover Series
Winter Nature Hike
Join one of our seasoned Tamarack Volunteers on a guided Winter Nature Hike. Our hope is to look at tracks, scat & follow deer trails that wind through the 320-acre nature preserve as well as listen for birds that call Minnesota home for the winter. Registration is encouraged but not required.

Join a naturalist for a winter snow adventure. We will head out on snowshoes (or hike) and enjoy the simple beauty of winter at Tamarack. At the conclusion of our hike we will gather for cocoa and connections.

Youth drop-off program

Keep moving, embrace winter and try some of its best activities! Depending on snow conditions, each week we will choose from cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, orienteering or winter survival. Join us for some new outdoor snow adventures!
Winter Recreation Rentals
Ages: 5+ y/o

Ski & snowshoe rentals:
Cost:
$6 daily or $12 for 2 hour rental. Ski pass required.
Preregistration is encouraged for groups of 4 - 6 renters. Register under "Tamarack Ski Rentals" tab.
Frogs & Polliwogs
Preregistration required.

Cancellation and refund policy
