Autism-Friendly Hour

Sundays
9:30 – 10:30 a.m. 
Regular admission rates apply.

Waterworks offers a sensory-friendly hour designed for individuals who are on the autism spectrum or with various sensory needs. This time will provide a chance to experience the water park at a controlled pace, allowing guests to become comfortable with the park before it opens to the general public. 

A social narrative (PDF) is available to help participants know what to expect during the event. This event is offered in partnership with the Autism Society of Minnesota.

9:30 – 10:30 a.m. 
$2.50 per person. Children under 12 months are free. An additional fee of $4.50 per person applies if staying after 10:30 a.m.

An hour set aside for kids five years and younger to enjoy splashing around before the park opens to the general public.
