When will I hear from the county about my application?

Regular financial assistance applications take can take 30-60 days to process, depending on the type of assistance.

Here is what happens during that time:

1. An application is completed through MNBenefits or submitted by paper application.
2. Ramsey County receives the application.
3. The application is assigned to a caseworker and processed for eligibility.
4. The applicant receives a notice of approval or denial.
