Ramsey County Parks partners up with New Brighton Parks and Rec on lifeguard certifications and re-certifications
In partnership with New Brighton Parks and Rec, Ramsey County Parks and Recreation is offering two lifeguard certification classes and one re-certification class this spring. Classes are open for registration on CivicRec. Certification courses will be held April 17-19 at Highview Middle School in New Brighton and June 5-7 at Edgewood Middle School in Arden Hills. A re-certification course is available on May 17 at Edgewood Middle School. Register today!
Lifeguard opportunities available this summer
Although Battle Creek Waterpark, formerly known as Battle Creek Water Works, will be closed for construction during the summer season of 2025, Ramsey County is still hiring lifeguards for our beaches. This is a great opportunity to develop valuable skills, work outdoors, and be part of a dedicated team ensuring the safety of our community.
