Absentee voting begins for Mar. 5 presidential nominating primary at the Plato Building. Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Feb. 13

Pre-registration deadline for the presidential nomination primary.

Feb. 16

Roseville Public Library and Shoreview Public Library open for early voting.Voting hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for these locations.

Feb. 19

Presidents Day - All early voting locations are CLOSED for voting

Feb. 23

A public accuracy test of the voting system to be used at the Presidential Nominating Primary will be conducted at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at the Ramsey County Elections Office, located at 90 W Plato Blvd.

Mar. 2 

Extended hours for absentee voting for general election: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all voting locations.

Mar. 4

Absentee voting hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Plato Building and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Rosevile and Shoreview Public Libraries.

Mar. 5 Presidential Nomination Primary - Polls open to 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Mar. 8

The canvassing board will convene to certify Presidential Nominating Primary results on Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Ramsey County Elections Office, located at 90 W Plato Blvd.

May 21

First day to file affidavits of candidacy for jurisdictions with the potential for a primary (County Commissioner Districts 1,2, and 7, state legislator/senatorial seats, special election for St. Anthony City Council, various judicial offices, and the cities of Maplewood and Roseville).

Jun. 4

Last day to file affidavits of candidacy for jurisdictions with the potential for a primary.

Jun. 6 Last day to file affidavits of withdrawal for jurisdictions with the potential for a primary by 5 p.m.

Jun. 28

Absentee voting begins for Aug. 13 State Primary at the Plato Building. Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Jul. 4  Independence Day - All voting Locations CLOSED for voting.

Jul. 23

Pre-registration deadline for state primary.

Jul. 26

Roseville Public Library and Shoreview Public Library open for early voting. Voting hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for these locations.

Jul. 30

First day to file affidavits of candidacy for cities and school districts without a primary.

Aug. 2

Pre-general report due for all open committees running in the August Primary.

Aug. 10

Extended hours for absentee voting for general election: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all voting locations.
Aug. 12 Absentee voting hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Plato Building and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Roseville and Shoreview Public Libraries.
Aug. 13 State Primary - Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Aug. 13 Last day to file affidavits of candidacy for cities and school districts without a primary.
Aug. 15 Last day to file affidavits of withdrawal for cities and school districts without a primary.
Aug. 16

The canvassing board will convene to certify Primary results on Friday, Aug. 16, 2024, at the Ramsey County Elections Office, located at 90 W Plato Blvd.

Sept. 10 Eight-week campaign finance report due for Saint Paul and ISD 625 candidates who have open committees.
Sept. 13 Post-general campaign fiance reports due for all open committees who ran in the August Primary.
Sept. 20 Absentee voting begins for Nov. 5 general at the Plato Building and Maplewood City Hall (City of Maplewood voters ONLY). Voting hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
Oct. 15 Pre-registration deadline for general election.
Oct. 18 Arlington Hills Community Center, Frogtown Community Center, Roseville Public Library, and Shoreview Public Library open for early voting. Voting hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday for these locations.
Oct. 22 Two-week campaign finance report due for Saint Paul and ISD 625 candidates who have open committees.
Oct. 25 Pre-election campaign finance reports are due for political committees and candidates running for county, city, and school board offices who have open committees.

Oct. 26 Extended hours for absentee voting for general election: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all voting locations.
Oct. 29 Extended hours for absentee voting for general election at Plato Building ONLY: 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. All other locations: 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Nov. 2 Extended hours for absentee voting for general election: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all voting locations.
Nov. 3 Extended hours for absentee voting for general election: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at all voting locations.
Nov. 4 Absentee voting hours: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Plato Building and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Arlington Hills Community Center, Frogtown Community Center, and Roseville and Shoreview Public Libraries.
Nov. 5 General Election - Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Nov. 12 Certification of filing for campaign finance reports due from all state general election candidates.
Nov. 13

The canvassing board will convene to certify General results on Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at the Ramsey County Elections Office, located at 90 W Plato Blvd.

Dec. 5 Post-general campaign finance reports due from open committees.
