Law Enforcement Center lobby open Tuesday night as warm space for people who are unsheltered

Ramsey County is taking emergency steps to keep people in need safe. The lobby of the Ramsey County Law Enforcement Center will open overnight to anyone in need of a warm place to stay.

Monday (Dec. 9) beginning at 7:30 p.m. until Tuesday (Dec. 10) at 7:30 a.m. 
Tuesday (Dec. 10) beginning at 7:30 p.m. until Wednesday (Dec. 11) at 7:30 a.m.

People who need a place to get out of the cold or need a ride to the Law Enforcement Center can call 651-291-1111 to make arrangements. This is a low-barrier facility open to anyone — no questions asked.

Later this week, Ramsey County will open its official Winter Warming Spaces. Check Winter Warming Spaces for updates and additional information on these spaces.

County officials will continue to monitor the weather and make the Law Enforcement Center lobby available when the weather reaches dangerously frigid temperatures and wind chills.
