Ramsey County Board Certifies Maximum Tax Levy for Proposed 2025 Property Tax Notices
On Tuesday, Sept. 25 the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners certified the maximum tax levy for 2025 property tax notices, setting the highest amount residents may be levied to fund public services, programs and infrastructure.
The total certified levy is $395,960,717, with $379,015,287 allocated for general county expenses and $16,945,430 for the library system.
A public hearing will be held in early December, with the exact date to be determined, to gather feedback from residents. The Board of Commissioners will then vote on the final budget at their regular meeting on Dec. 17.
