The board of commissioners declares July 23, 2024 as Trista Martinson Day in Ramsey County.
Trista Martinson has served on the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners representing District 3 since January 2019, and as Board Chair since January 2022. Trista’s service on the Ramsey County Board followed 16 years in our nation’s military in three branches, the Navy, Marines, and Army-National Guard. The residents of the North End, Como, Payne-Phalen, Frogtown, Hamline-Midway, St. Anthony Park, and Falcon Heights have trusted Trista to represent them and to build a better Ramsey County.
Trista has accepted a new position as the first Executive Director, Ramsey-Washington Recycling & Energy and has submitted her resignation, effective end of business day on August 1, 2024. The board of commissioners wishes Trista success and happiness in all her future endeavors.
