Language Services Coming to 8500 Phone Line and Maplewood Service Center

To better serve the needs of our non-English speaking residents, Ramsey County will begin a phased-rollout of language-specific staff support through the Ramsey County Call Center (651-266-8500) and the Maplewood Mall Service Center.

Beginning in February: 

• Spanish and Hmong staff support will be available through the Ramsey County Call Center.

Beginning in March: 

• Karen and Somali staff support will be available through the Ramsey County Call Center (651-266-8500).
• Spanish and Hmong staff support will be available at the Maplewood Service Center location.

Instructions 

1. Dial number (651-266-8500).
2. Follow audio directions to select language option.
3. Select desired service extension. If Spanish or Hmong option is requested and staffing permits, staff will respond in the resident’s preferred language.
