July 16-22 proclaimed Pretrial, Probation and Parole Week by board
The board of commissioners has declared July 16-222 as Pretrial, Probation and Parole Week.
Ramsey County employs over 500 community corrections professionals who are dedicated to strengthening individual, and community safety and well-being, through innovative interventions and programming that promote personal change and accountability.
Probation Officers and community corrections staff at all levels perform duties necessary to protect the community, promote positive behavioral change, increase healthy development, hold probationers accountable, and to provide support to crime victims by helping them understand and exercise their rights.
Pretrial, Probation and Parole Week is an annual recognition event initiated by the American Probation and Parole Association.
