Now accepting proposals to administer small business certification (CERT) program
Ramsey County is accepting proposals from nonprofits and businesses to administer the small business certification (CERT) program on behalf Ramsey County, Hennepin County and the cities of Minneapolis and Saint Paul.
The Small Business Certification Administrator must be friendly, knowledgeable and effective, as well as fast. The Administrator will prioritize and process certification applications while providing superior customer and administrative support.
What is CERT?
The Central Certification (CERT) Program is a local small business certification program jointly sponsored and administered by Hennepin County, Ramsey County, the city of Minneapolis and the city of Saint Paul. Saint Paul is the lead agency for the CERT collaborative. On average there are approximately 1,500 certified firms in the program.
