Ramsey County and Arden Hills seek development interest for 40-acre parcel (Outlot A) at Rice Creek Commons
Ramsey County is now accepting proposals for "Outlot A," a 40-acre commercial development property, located within the Rice Creek Commons project area. The Joint Development Authority (JDA), which consists of elected officials from Ramsey County and the City of Arden Hills, announced on June 24 that it has issued a Request for Development Interest (RDI). Outlot A is situated along Interstate 35W and is a portion of the 427-acre Rice Creek Commons redevelopment area in Arden Hills, formerly known as the Twin Cities Army Ammunition Plant.
Eligibility
Ramsey County is seeking experienced developers with the ability and financial resources to purchase and develop Outlot A according to the county's Equitable Development Framework and Rice Creek Commons master plan. Eligible site uses include:
- Business service.
- Clinic/medical offices.
- Financial institutions.
- Food preparation.
- Hotel/motel offices.
- Research and development.
- Pet Services.
