Family coaches are now available for American Indian families

Family coaching services for American Indian families and those caring for American Indian children are now available through Montessori American Indian Child Care Center . Family coaches offer strength, motivation and holistic support for up to one year to help families thrive. 

Family coaches:

• Implement Kellogg Family-Centered Coaching Model to meet families where they are and help them work towards stability.
• Provide a safe space for families to access and navigate culturally responsive, community-based resources and services for themselves and children, resolve challenges, and develop their own solutions needed to reaching their personal goals.
• Offer voluntary, flexible, holistic, trauma-informed, follow-along support to assist families in acquiring skills and setting goals.
• Provide support for families for a minimum of six months.

Community providers and staff from Ramsey County and Montessori American Indian Child Care Center and can initiate a referral. Families can also request a referral.
