2025 property valuation notices and tax statements to arrive last week of March
Annual property valuation notices and tax statements for 2025 are expected to reach Ramsey County property owners in mid-March. Valuation notices include your property classification, estimated market value and taxable market value, which is used to determine property taxes payable in 2026.
Encroachment inspections to continue year-round
With minimal snowfall this season, encroachments on park property have been occurring throughout the winter and will continue to be addressed throughout the year. Parks & Recreation staff are actively inspecting parkland to identify unauthorized use, which can include dumping yard waste, mowing or clearing vegetation, storing personal belongings, or placing structures on county property.
Ramsey County Parks partners up with New Brighton Parks and Rec on lifeguard certifications and re-certifications
In partnership with New Brighton Parks and Rec, Ramsey County Parks and Recreation is offering two lifeguard certification classes and one re-certification class this spring. Classes are open for registration on CivicRec. Certification courses will be held April 17-19 at Highview Middle School in New Brighton and June 5-7 at Edgewood Middle School in Arden Hills. A re-certification course is available on May 17 at Edgewood Middle School. Visit the catalog to learn more and register.

Veterans Services office closed for in-person visits March 17 and 18
The Veterans Services office at 90 Plato Blvd W., Saint Paul will be closed for in-person appointments on Monday, March 17 and Tuesday, March 18 for a front office redesign.

This new facility will make it easier for residents to reduce, reuse, repair and recycle.
