Major Computer and Systems Outage - Employee Information

A major computer outage has affected computer networks around the world. Some of our computers are affected, and some are not. This is not a security incident or a cyber attack, and we are actively working with our vendors to fix the issue.

Upcoming support clinics to reset computers and scheduling links

If you have the blue error screen on your Ramsey County-issued laptop, staff from Information Services (IS) will need to provide in-person assistance to help you regain access.  We are continuing to offer convenient reset clinics with extended timings at Plato and Arden Hills.

To expedite your service, we encourage you to schedule an appointment using the link below. Walk-in appointments are also available but may experience longer wait times. Please have your laptop charged and turned on before meeting with a technician.

Please coordinate with your supervisor to attend a clinic during your regularly scheduled work hours.

  • Plato Building
  • Public Works Facility

Public Works Facility (1425 Paul Kirkwold Dr. Arden Hills, MN 55112) - Marsden Room.

Plato Building (90 Plato Blvd. West, Saint Paul, MN 55107) - First floor conference room.

Both support sites offer free onsite parking.

Bring both your Ramsey County issued laptop and charger with you to the support site.
