Tracy West named Director of Property Tax, Records and Election Services and County Auditor/Treasurer
Tracy West
Tracy West has been named Director of Property Tax, Records and Election Services and the County Auditor/Treasurer after serving as the interim director and County Auditor/Treasurer since March 2023. She will report to Karen Francois, Deputy County Manager of the Information and Public Records Service Team.
West brings 20 years of financial management, project management, and leadership experience to the role and has been with the county since 2016. Prior to being named interim director and County Auditor/Treasurer, she served as the Controller for the county’s Information and Public Records Service team, which includes Property Tax, Records and Elections Services. Before that she served as a Principal Financial Management Analyst in the county’s finance budget office. West has also held varied and progressive leadership roles in corporations such as Ecolab, Universal Hospital Services, and AllianceOne.
West holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Metropolitan State University and a Master of Public Administration from Hamline University. She has previously served on the Universal Hospital Services Women in Leadership Group and the Universal Hospital Services Executive Mentor Program.
Originally from Little Canada, West went to St. Bernard’s High School in Saint Paul. Today she currently resides in Eagan with her husband Dallas and their two children Parker and Grant.
