Second Inclusive Workplaces Cohort Selected
Ramsey County, in partnership with the Workforce Innovation Board (WIB), is partnering once again to provide Ramsey County businesses with an Executive Leadership Cohort learning experience. Building upon the overwhelming success of last year's cohort, this second cohort will support 11 employers in becoming more inclusive workplaces by ensuring the diversity of our community is being amplified as a tool for economic growth, in alignment with Ramsey County’s Economic Competitiveness and Inclusion Plan. These selected Ramsey County employers, which collectively employ over 700 people, will participate in a 9-month peer learning cohort to establish organizational strategies, accountabilities and measures using a results-based accountability framework.
The cohort includes:
- Designs for Learning, Inc.
- Association of Minnesota Counties.
- Innovize.
- SRF Consulting Group.
- Star House.
- Metropolitan Council Community Development Division.
- Concordia University, St. Paul.
- LS Black Constructors.
- Natus Corporation dba Hamernick’s.
- Nexus Kindred Family Healing.
- Ain Dah Yung Center.
The Center for Economic Inclusion (The Center), which is located in Saint Paul, will lead the experience in a shared learning, planning and action cohort model and accelerate organizational anti-racist business actions, investments, and commitments. The Center will create a learning environment that fosters a forum for discussing and sharing ideas, while encouraging accountability through safe and brave spaces for confidentiality and provide use of its proprietary Racial Equity Dividend's Index to guide participants learning and action.
