Ramsey County and the Workforce Innovation Board welcomes 11 new organizations to the third Inclusive Workplaces cohort
Ramsey County and the Workforce Innovation Board (WIB) is offering local businesses an opportunity to participate in a leadership learning cohort experience. This third cohort will support 11 organizations in creating a more inclusive workplaces to reflect the diversity of our community while aligning with Ramsey County’s Economic Competitiveness and Inclusion Plan.
“The ongoing commitment of the WIB demonstrates its intentional strategy to continue supporting Ramsey County employers to become more inclusive workplaces,” said Ramsey County’s Workforce Solutions Director and WIB Executive Director, Ling Becker. “We are thrilled to have a third cohort engage in this experience and look forward to investing in their participation and engagement.”
The following organizations, which collectively employ nearly 2,400 individuals, were selected to participate in the cohort:
- Wildflyer Coffee
- Saint Paul Port Authority
- White Bear Center for the Arts
- Ampact
- Opportunity Community Services, Inc.
- Flannery Construction, Inc.
- Cadenza Music
- Lunda Construction Co.
- Friends of the Saint Paul Public Library
- Gillette Children’s
- Polar Semiconductor
ADR Consulting Group will lead the cohort and create a learning environment that invites discussion and sharing of ideas, while encouraging accountability. Their facilitators come from unique and diverse backgrounds that allow them to truly center intersectionality in the way they approach diversity, equity and inclusion at the workplace.
This program is sponsored by the WIB’s Equity Committee with assistance from the WIB’s Partnership and Outreach Committee. The WIB is committed to leading transformational efforts to end systemic inequities.
