Ramsey County and community partners attend 2024 Selby Avenue Jazz Fest
On Sept. 14 more than 10,000 attendees gathered for the Selby Avenue Jazz Fest, a full-day community music event along Selby Avenue in Saint Paul. A team of Second Chance employment advocates and service providers joined Ramsey County Workforce Solutions to promote fair chance employment opportunities and resources available to those who have been justice-impacted.
"Ramsey County is proud to sponsor the Selby JazzFest, a celebration of music and togetherness that reflects the strength and diversity of our community," said Commissioner Rena Moran. "Events like this enrich our lives, support diverse businesses, and foster an inclusive economy, so that everyone has the opportunity to thrive."
Art from the Inside, Repowered, We are All Criminals, Smart North, We Resolve and Ramsey County Workforce Solutions participated in the festival to answer questions and make meaningful connections with residents. The community found helpful resources while enjoying incredible music, food and time with friends and neighbors.
