November is Native American Heritage Month!
The month of November is Native American Heritage Month. The original homelands of American Indian people within the county existed since time immemorial, and Ramsey County acknowledges the contributions of American Indian people prior to its formation and recognizes the inherent sovereignty of Tribal Nations, and the unique political status of Tribal members. The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners will recognize Native American Heritage Month through a proclamation on Nov. 26 at 9 a.m. at Saint Paul City Hall and Ramsey County Courthouse.
