May 11-17 designated as Police Week
The board of commissioners designated May 11-17 as Police Week in the county at the May 10 board meeting, recognizing the service of law enforcement officers in our community and in communities across the nation.
There are approximately 800,000 law enforcement officers serving in communities across the county, including the dedicated members of the Ramsey County Sheriff’s Office. Every day law enforcement officers are the first to be on the scene to help those in need and are dedicated to serving the community.
Commissioner Reinhardt read the proclamation with staff from the sheriff's office offering remarks.
