Join Ramsey County at Pride events this June

Celebrating Pride Month is part of the county's dedication to inclusivity and the well-being of LGBTQ+ individuals, and fostering a diverse and resilient community. The county will be at the following events throughout the month:

June 1 – Youth Pride

  • 1-6 p.m.
  • Como Midway Picnic Pavilion.
  • For youth ages 13-22.
  • Youth Pride will include activities and games in the park, food from local businesses, entertainment from local LGBTQ+ DJs and performers from amazing entertainers, resources from local LGBTQ+ serving organizations, photo-booths, and more! Event organizers require all vendors and volunteers to submit background checks to ensure the safety of youth participants.
  • Visit Ramsey County Child and Teen Checkups program for resources on mental health, medical and dental check-ups. Free giveaways for summer safety include sunscreen, sunglasses and cooling towels.

June 1 –  Pride Celebration

  • 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
  • Roseville Library.
  • All ages welcome.
  • Play with kittens from the Bitty Kitty Brigade, listen to the One Voice Mixed Chorus, tie dye a bandana with teaching artists from Erin Holt LLC (while supplies last), hear from Gender Justice, face painting with artists from Starburst Arts, hear from M.E. Corey, the author of the young adult book Out of Blue Comes Green, enjoy various crafts, games and an all-day scavenger hunt with Ramsey County Parks and Recreation.
  • Connect with local LGBTQIA2S+ organizations.

June 4 – Pride proclamation with Ramsey County Board of Commissioners

June 15 – St. Paul Pride Festival & Parade

  • 10 a.m.-10 p.m.
  • At 10 a.m., join the 5th Street Sidewalk starting in Lowertown to Rice Park.
  • From noon-10 p.m. enjoy the Rice Park Festival.
  • A free public event that works toward a future without discrimination where all people have equal rights under the law and in the hearts and minds of each other.
  • Saint Paul – Ramsey County Public Health is an official sponsor and Clinic 555 will be onsite providing HIV and STI screenings, along with safer sex supplies.
  • The Ramsey County PRIDE: LGBTQIA2S+ Employee Resource Group will also be present to connect as members and allies, enjoying the festival together.
  • Say ‘hi’ to Ramsey County Environmental Health Recycling Ambassadors volunteering as waste station monitors.

June 27 – Teen Pride Picnic

  • 12:30-2 p.m.
  • Snail Lake Regional Park - Upper Pavilion.
  • This event is for tweens and teens going into grades 6-12.
  • Join us for a delicious picnic and fun games like giant Jenga as we celebrate Pride Month.
  • This event is held in partnership with Ramsey County Libraries and Parks and Recreation.

June 29-30 – Twin Cities Pride

  • Hours vary by day and event, please check the website for complete details.
  • Loring Park, Minneapolis.
  • The largest Pride festival highlighting the best in LGBTQIA+ entertainment on 4 stages, featuring over 650 vendors, including LGBTQIA+ & BIPOC community resources, artists and businesses.
  • Join Ramsey County Social Services for their eighth year celebrating community partnerships 365/24/7! Visit the booth from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Saturday & Sunday in the Green Section, G#195 to grab free swag.
  • The Ramsey County PRIDE: LGBTQIA2S+ Employee Resource Group will also be present to connect as members and allies, enjoying the festival together.
