Join us for a viewing of the documentary "Wasted! The Story of Food Waste." Each year, 1.3 billion tons of food get thrown out globally. Chef Anthony Bourdain takes you around the world to meet chefs who demonstrate innovative ways to transform food scraps into delectable dishes. The documentary also sheds light on the global issue of food waste and efforts to combat it.

A guided discussion will follow the viewing, led by staff from Ramsey County Environmental Health.

This event is part of the larger Stop Food Waste Challenge, which is a month-long online challenge during August that encourages people to reduce food waste in their lives. Earn points as you complete activities—winners will receive Visa gift cards at the end of the challenge!
