Detoxification Facility temporarily pauses services
Update: Services resumed August 14 at Ramsey County Detox.
The Ramsey County Detoxification Facility has temporarily paused it services. The county has obtained a license from the Minnesota Department of Human Services to provide medicated withdrawal management services. Ramsey County Detox is closed temporarily to train staff on this new service and integrate it with existing operations.
The new withdrawal management services the county will be offered upon the reopening will expand capacity in the metro area. This new medically monitored service will provide a more holistic approach with high-end stabilization and treatment planning as well as medication assistance with withdrawal. This pause in services is needed to ensure staff are ready to serve clients with the new service.
County Detox temporarily stopped accepting clients effective June 23 and is pausing services until August 14. Individuals needing assistance can access other detox sites, hospitals or health care facilities during the closure.
