City & County Credit Union secondary naming rights sponsorship approved for TCO Sports Garden
The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has approved a contract with City & County Credit Union for secondary naming rights of the fieldhouse at TCO Sports Garden in Vadnais Heights.
As part of the 10-year agreement, City & County Credit Union will invest $30,000 per year toward the facility. Funds generated through the agreement will ensure that Ramsey County can offer high-quality programming and experiences for users at the fieldhouse.
“We are happy to be partnering in this agreement with a great organization in our community,” Mark McCabe, Director of Parks & Recreation, says. “This partnership complements our already strong relationship with Twin Cities Orthopedics. City & County Credit Union’s dedication to step beyond financial transactions to invest in and support our community is inspiring, and we look forward to joining forces to keep the fieldhouse affordable and accessible to all.”
The fieldhouse at the TCO Sports Garden opened in January 2021 and has received high praise from the community. The beautiful 82,000 sq. ft. facility is one of only four turf facilities in the northeast metro and offers three practice fields with plenty of room for spectators. The facility hosts year-round youth and adult soccer, lacrosse and football teams.
The sports center was purchased by Ramsey County in 2014 and hosts approximately 1.5 million event attendees annually at activities that range from hockey tournaments to soccer leagues to gymnastic meets to community expos.
“Community is the backbone of City & County Credit Union’s existence, which is why giving back to our local neighborhoods is at the core of our giveback philosophy,” Bailey Germain, VP of Marketing, explained. “We are beyond excited to partner with Ramsey County to create a fieldhouse space at the TCO Sports Garden where families can gather whether it is for a soccer game, toddler Thursdays, or simply open walking.”
The deal was brokered by Rinkside Advertising Network.
