April 10-14 proclaimed Public Safety Telecommunicators Week by county board
The board of commissioners has proclaimed April 10-14 Public Safety Telecommunicators Week in the county. The Ramsey County Emergency Communications Center provides public safety dispatching services for all law and fire departments within the county.
Telecommunicators are a vital link for our first responders by coordinating their responses and ensuring scene safety by providing them with up to date and accurate information often obtained from callers in highly stressful situations. The board commends the 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year life-saving work and devotion of the employees at the Ramsey County Emergency Communications Center who work to keep our county and residents safe.
Commissioner Ortega read the proclamation with staff from the Emergency Communications Center offering remarks.
