Environmental Center

The new Ramsey County Environmental Center is open! Drop off household hazardous waste and electronics, household recycling and food scraps all in one place. Free for residents of Ramsey, Anoka, Carver, Dakota, Hennepin, Scott and Washington counties.

Note: There are no mobile household hazardous waste sites in 2025.

Tuesday-Friday: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
Saturday: 9 a.m.-4 p.m
Sunday-Monday: Closed
Closed: County holidays and Christmas Eve

Product Reuse Room

Residents can pick up paint, automotive products, household cleaners, camp stove fluid and more for free. Leftover products are available on a first-come, first-served basis and selection will vary. Must be 18 years or older to participate.

Fix-It Clinics

Residents can bring small household appliances, clothing and other items in need of repair to our monthly Fix-It Clinics. Volunteer fixers will help repair the item for free! Limit three items per person.
