Saint Paul curfew begins at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13

Mayor Melvin Carter has announced a curfew in Saint Paul to begin at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, April 13 and last until 6 a.m. Wednesday, April 14.

During curfew, travel is prohibited on public streets and in public places for most people - exceptions include first responders, people going back and forth to work, individuals seeking emergency care or fleeing danger, people experiencing homelessness, and members of the news media.

Operation Safety Net, a partnership between metro and state law enforcement officials, is providing timely regional updates on its website and via social media.

Ramsey County employees who need to travel to or from work during the curfew are advised to wear their county-issued identification badges. Please have badges readily available for display at all times.
